Just waiting on hot coffee, and the sun.If it’s Friday and I’m planning a trip, this is the image I always think of✌️Mapping out a home for the night.Anybody else really enjoy summer but miss snow at the same time?More surf stuff 🤙The ‘coffee, surf, coffee, surf, eat, surf, eat, sleep’ routine.Head south and keep on goingMorning routine without phone service at the cabin; coffee, maps and notes on where we’ve been and where we’re headed before surfing all day.I’ve been falling in love with surfing again and everything that goes with that; long drives late at night with a car full of boards, weird conversations, scoring, getting skunked and seeing new places.Sunrise amongst the cholla cactus. This is also my current phone background, fits the screen well and makes me smile every time I look at it. Songs about Texas while in the Utah snow; -15 degrees celsius in the desert and you can still get a cup of hot coffee going. Also drones have trouble following a white car in the snow 🤷♂️Mittens and dirty windscreens.Met some like-minded people along the way.Long airport layover and sharing my favorite from the four from Joshua Tree I posted previously.Just before the sun disappears.I almost didn’t get to share this photo - an hour into the hike out to this place, I slipped on a patch of ice and almost took a crash course in learning how to base jump without a ‘chute. Thankful for second chances and big clean photographs too. Just about done with this trip, going to jump in a hot spring before dark.
